The need
A grocery list on paper or in a note gets lost, collects duplicates and ignores the order of the shop. ShopLog answers a simple question: how do you shop faster, without forgetting anything or buying the same thing twice?
What the app does
- Items grouped by aisle, in the order of your shop.
- Duplicate detection when adding: “milk” and “milks” are recognised, even with a typo, in English, French and Dutch.
- Frequent-purchase tracking, so your usual items are quick to find.
- Search, sort and filters above the list.
- Real-time sync between phone and computer.
- Interface in English, French and Dutch.
How it’s built
One Flutter codebase for Android and the browser, with Firebase for accounts and real-time sync. Duplicate detection handles accents, plurals and typos, and is checked by automated tests. Freemium model: one list free, up to ten with the premium option.
