The need
A tabletop campaign means paper character sheets, scattered notes and party finances kept in someone’s head. RpgAssist puts it all in one place, shared between the game master and the players.
What the app does
- Full character sheets for Warhammer Fantasy (4th edition): characteristics, skills, talents, equipment and encumbrance, attacks, spells.
- Shared groups and campaigns, with roles: game master, co-GM and players.
- The game master decides what players see: NPCs, locations, items, handouts.
- Party inventory and finances, with a full transaction history.
- Shared campaign notes, with important ones pinned to the top.
- Two themes: modern, or medieval on parchment.
How it’s built
Flutter for Android and the browser, installable as an app, with Firebase for real-time sync. Access rights (GM, co-GM, player) are enforced by the database security rules, not just in the interface. A theme system changes the whole look of the app, fonts included.
