The need
Family recipes end up scattered across notebooks, screenshots and websites. ReciPeas brings them together in a personal recipe book designed for cooking, not just for storage.
What the app does
- Quantities scale automatically with the number of servings.
- Step-by-step cooking mode, full screen, with the screen kept on.
- Tags, search and sorting to find any recipe in seconds.
- Forgotten-recipe reminder: the app suggests a dish you haven’t opened in three weeks.
- Export and import to share one recipe or your whole collection with other ReciPeas users.
- Interface in English, French and Dutch.
How it’s built
Flutter for Android and the browser, Firebase for accounts and data. Servings are recalculated on the device, so instantly, even on a poor connection. In cooking mode the phone doesn’t go to sleep between steps.
